Welcome to Madagascar. On arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your national accompanying guide and transferred to your hotel in Antananarivo.

Accommodation: Relais des Plateaux, Palissandre Hotel, San Cristobal Boutique Hotel, or similar
After breakfast, begin the journey toward Ankarafantsika National Park by domestic-flight-supported routing or road connection according to the confirmed program.
On arrival, settle into the lodge and enjoy the dry deciduous forest atmosphere. If timing allows, a short first walk can be arranged around the park or lodge area.
Accommodation: Ecolodge Poséidon, or similar
Start early for birdwatching and wildlife exploration in Ankarafantsika, one of Madagascar’s most important dry forest parks.
With a local guide, search for Coquerel’s sifaka, mongoose lemur, common brown lemur, couas, vangas, asities, raptors, reptiles and lake birds depending on the chosen circuit.
Accommodation: Ecolodge Poséidon, or similar
After breakfast, leave Ankarafantsika and return to Antananarivo first. From Tana, continue onward to Morondava, gateway to western Madagascar and baobab country.
On arrival in Morondava, transfer to the hotel and check in before heading to the Avenue of the Baobabs for sunset. This gives the day a clear travel rhythm: Ankarafantsika → Antananarivo → Morondava → Baobab Avenue.
Accommodation: Palissandre Côte Ouest, Laguna Beach, or similar
After breakfast, drive to Kirindy Forest through western villages, dry landscapes and baobab scenery.
Kirindy is a key dry-forest wildlife site, known for Verreaux’s sifaka, red-fronted brown lemur, reptiles, birds and possible fossa signs. In the evening, enjoy a guided night walk for mouse lemurs, geckos, chameleons, insects and night birds.
Accommodation: Relais du Kirindy, or similar
Begin with an early guided walk in Kirindy Forest, when wildlife activity is usually better.
The local guide will search for lemurs, birds, reptiles and dry forest species. Later, return to Morondava for a relaxed evening by the coast or at the hotel.
Accommodation: Palissandre Côte Ouest, Laguna Beach, or similar
After breakfast, transfer to Morondava Airport for the domestic flight to Antananarivo, then continue by road to Antsirabe.
The scenery changes from capital surroundings to highland rice fields, brick houses and terraced hills. Arrive in Antsirabe and settle into the cool highland atmosphere.
Accommodation: Couleur Café, Plumeria Hotel Antsirabe, Eco Lodge Les Chambres du Voyageur, or similar
Continue south through the central highlands, with rice terraces, markets, villages and mountain scenery.
Stop in Ambositra for woodcarving and craft culture before continuing to Ranomafana. The landscape becomes greener and more humid as you approach the rainforest.
Accommodation: Setam Lodge, Thermal Hotel, Centrest Séjour, or similar
Start early for a guided rainforest visit in Ranomafana National Park, a major biodiversity hotspot.

Transfer to Tulear Airport for the domestic flight to Antananarivo according to the flight schedule.
