Welcome to Madagascar. On arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your national accompanying guide and transferred to your hotel in Antananarivo, locally known as Tana.
The day is kept relaxed after the international flight. Depending on arrival time, a short orientation, viewpoint stop, craft market visit or first Malagasy dinner can be arranged before the RN7 journey begins.

After breakfast, depart east toward Andasibe. The road passes highland villages, rice fields, eucalyptus forests and green valleys.
On the way, stop at Peyrieras Reserve, a good first introduction to Madagascar's small wildlife, with chameleons, geckos, frogs, reptiles and butterflies. Continue to Andasibe and settle into the rainforest atmosphere.

Today is dedicated to the Andasibe rainforest. Visit Analamazaotra Special Reserve with a local guide to search for the famous Indri Indri, Madagascar's largest lemur, known for its powerful morning call.
The forest walk may also reveal birds, orchids, chameleons, frogs, medicinal plants and other lemur species. In the afternoon, a nearby private reserve visit can be arranged according to timing.

After breakfast, leave Andasibe and return toward the central highlands before joining the RN7 southbound route. The scenery changes through rice terraces, red-earth villages and traditional brick houses.
A stop can be made in Ambatolampy for traditional aluminum workshops before continuing to Antsirabe, a pleasant highland town known for pousse-pousse rickshaws, crafts and cool mountain air.

After breakfast, enjoy a short Antsirabe craft discovery if timing allows, then continue south along the RN7.
Stop in Ambositra, Madagascar's woodcarving capital, known for Zafimaniry-inspired carving, marquetry and handicrafts. Continue toward Ranomafana as the landscape becomes greener, mountainous and more humid.

Today is dedicated to Ranomafana National Park, one of Madagascar's most important rainforest reserves.
With a local guide, explore forest trails in search of lemurs, birds, frogs, chameleons, orchids, waterfalls and tropical vegetation. The visit can be adapted to the group's fitness and preferred walking level.

After breakfast, return toward the RN7 and drive through Fianarantsoa toward Ambalavao. The road passes forested hills, rice fields, mountain scenery and highland villages.
Ambalavao is known for Antemoro paper, local markets, traditional houses and granite landscapes. Continue to the Anja area and enjoy a peaceful countryside evening near the reserve.

After breakfast, visit Anja Community Reserve, one of the best places to observe ring-tailed lemurs among granite rocks, dry forest and caves.
After the visit, continue south across the Horombe Plateau toward Ranohira, gateway to Isalo National Park. If timing allows, enjoy sunset near the Window of Isalo before settling into the lodge.

Today is dedicated to Isalo National Park, one of Madagascar's most beautiful landscape parks.
With a local guide, discover sandstone massifs, canyons, dry forest, viewpoints and natural swimming pools. Possible wildlife includes ring-tailed lemurs, sifakas, birds, reptiles and endemic plants.

After breakfast, drive west toward Toliara through dry southern landscapes, baobabs, thorny vegetation and village scenery.
According to the selected beach option, continue by road to Ifaty or transfer by boat to Anakao. Both offer a relaxed seaside atmosphere, Vezo fishing culture and a beautiful coastal setting.

Enjoy a full day on the southwest coast. This day is flexible and can be used for beach relaxation, village discovery, snorkeling, a spiny forest visit in Ifaty, or a boat excursion from Anakao depending on the chosen beach destination.
After the long RN7 journey, the day is designed for rest, sea air and a gentle coastal rhythm.

After breakfast, return to Toliara. From Ifaty, transfer by road; from Anakao, take the boat transfer back to Toliara before continuing to the airport.
Fly to Antananarivo according to the flight schedule. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for a final evening, rest, souvenir shopping or farewell dinner.
