Today is dedicated to Ranomafana National Park, one of Madagascar’s most important rainforest reserves.
With a local guide, explore forest trails in search of lemurs, birds, frogs, chameleons, orchids, and rainforest scenery. Today is dedicated to Isalo National Park, one of Madagascar’s most beautiful landscape parks.
With a local guide, explore the park according to your preferred pace. A classic visit can include Namaza Canyon, natural pools, dry forest trails, sandstone massifs, canyon viewpoints, and swimming areas where permitted.
Possible wildlife includes ring-tailed lemurs, Verreaux’s sifaka, red-fronted brown lemur, birds, reptiles, and butterflies.
Accommodation: Isalo Rock Lodge, Relais de la Reine, or similar
After breakfast, depart early morning from Isalo / Ranohira and begin the long return journey north to Antsirabe.
This is a long travel day, crossing the Horombe Plateau, passing Ambalavao, Fianarantsoa, Ambositra, highland rice terraces, villages, valleys, and mountain scenery. Stops can be made along the way for photos, meals, and comfort breaks depending on timing.
The journey shows the dramatic change from southern dry landscapes back into the central highlands. Arrival in Antsirabe is expected in the evening, depending on road conditions and stops.
This day positions the tour for the westward route to Morondava the following day.
Accommodation: Couleur Café, Plumeria Hotel Antsirabe, or similar
After breakfast, depart early for the long scenic drive from Antsirabe to Morondava. The route gradually changes from cool highland landscapes to warmer western dry country.

Arrive in Morondava in the late afternoon or evening and check in at the hotel.
Accommodation: Palissandre Côte Ouest, Chez Maggie or similar
After breakfast, depart from Morondava by private 4x4 toward Bekopaka, gateway to Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.
The route passes through baobab landscapes, dry forest, villages, red-earth tracks, ferry crossings, and open western countryside. The journey usually passes through Belo-sur-Tsiribihina, an important stop before continuing toward Bekopaka.
Arrival in Bekopaka is usually late afternoon or evening depending on road and ferry conditions.

After breakfast, begin the day with a traditional pirogue excursion through the Manambolo Gorge. This peaceful river experience offers beautiful views of limestone cliffs, caves, river reflections, birds, and local boat life.
After lunch, visit the Small Tsingy. This circuit is shorter and more accessible than the Grand Tsingy and gives a beautiful first experience of the limestone formations. The trail includes rock passages, dry forest pockets, viewpoints, and limestone textures.
Return to the lodge and enjoy the evening in Bekopaka.
Accommodation: Orchidée du Bemaraha, Olympe du Bemaraha, or similar
Today is dedicated to the spectacular Grand Tsingy, one of Madagascar’s most famous natural wonders.

Your local guide will search for Verreaux’s sifaka, red-fronted brown lemur, birds, reptiles, and possible signs of the fossa. The fossa is wild and never guaranteed, but Kirindy is one of the best places in Madagascar to search for it.
After the morning walk, return to the lodge for rest and lunch, then continue toward Morondava. In the afternoon, visit the famous Avenue of the Baobabs for sunset.
At sunset, the giant baobabs become silhouettes against golden, orange, and purple skies. This is one of the most iconic and emotional moments of the journey.

Enjoy beach time, swimming, walking along the sandbank, relaxing under the sun, and taking beautiful photos.
Accommodation: Vanila Hotel, Andilana Beach Resort, Royal Beach Hotel, or similar
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Nosy Sakatia, one of the most peaceful islands near Nosy Be and one of the best places to look for sea turtles in respectful conditions.
