Premium Madagascar Charter Journey

On arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private guide or driver and transferred to your hotel in Antananarivo. This first day is kept relaxed after the international flight, with time to settle in and enjoy a calm luxury introduction to Madagascar.

At the hotel, a private welcome briefing can be arranged. Your guide or local representative will explain the charter flight schedule, luggage limits, park visits, walking levels, airstrip logistics, and the rhythm of the journey.

This is also a good moment to prepare walking shoes, light clothes, camera equipment, sun protection, a rain jacket, and a small daypack for the Tsingy and Isalo visits.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the private charter flight from Antananarivo to Amborodia, the air access point for Bekopaka and the Tsingy de Bemaraha region. The flight offers beautiful aerial views of Madagascar’s changing landscapes, from highland scenery to western dry country, rivers, and limestone zones.

Upon arrival in Amborodia, meet your local guide or 4x4 team and transfer toward Bekopaka. After arrival and check-in or refreshment at the lodge, begin the first Bemaraha experience with the Manambolo Gorge river excursion.

The Manambolo Gorge is usually explored by traditional wooden pirogue, with limestone cliffs, caves, river reflections, birds, and local boat life. In the afternoon, visit the Small Tsingy, a shorter and more accessible circuit with rock passages, viewpoints, dry forest pockets, limestone textures, and possible wildlife.

Today is dedicated to the spectacular Grand Tsingy, one of Madagascar’s most famous natural wonders. With a local specialist guide, explore limestone pinnacles, narrow corridors, caves, via ferrata sections, viewpoints, suspension bridges, and dry forest passages.

The Grand Tsingy circuit is adventurous and may involve ladders, harness sections, sharp limestone, and narrow passages. The reward is unforgettable: panoramic views over the stone forest, hidden passages, dramatic cliffs, and one of the most unique landscapes in Africa.

After the visit, transfer to the airstrip for the charter flight to Morondava. Upon arrival, meet your local representative or driver and continue to the famous Avenue of the Baobabs for sunset. The giant baobabs become silhouettes against golden, orange, and purple skies, creating one of Madagascar’s most iconic luxury travel moments.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the private charter flight from Morondava to the Isalo region. This flight connects western Madagascar with the dramatic sandstone landscapes of the south, avoiding a long overland journey.

Upon arrival, meet the local guide and driver, then transfer toward Isalo National Park for a private guided visit focused on Namaza Canyon and the natural pool. The visit can be adapted to guest fitness and timing, with time for walking, photography, swimming where permitted, and quiet enjoyment of the scenery.

Isalo is known for sandstone massifs, canyons, dry forest, open grasslands, and natural pools hidden among rock formations. Possible wildlife includes ring-tailed lemurs, Verreaux’s sifaka, red-fronted brown lemur, birds, reptiles, butterflies, and canyon vegetation.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the private charter flight from Isalo to Anjanjavy, one of Madagascar’s most exclusive beach and nature retreats.

The journey changes from dry sandstone landscapes to the remote northwest coast. Upon arrival, transfer to the lodge and settle into the peaceful atmosphere of Anjanjavy Le Lodge.

The rest of the day is designed for relaxation. Enjoy the beach, sea views, refined lodge setting, and the feeling of arriving in a private coastal paradise. Depending on timing, a short nature walk, beach walk, mangrove discovery, or sunset experience can be arranged.

Today is dedicated to discovering the natural beauty of Anjanjavy. The area combines beach, dry forest, mangroves, limestone formations, and wildlife, all within a refined and peaceful lodge environment.

Depending on the lodge program and local conditions, activities may include a guided forest walk, mangrove exploration, canoe or boat excursion, beach relaxation, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the lodge and sea. Possible wildlife includes Coquerel’s sifaka, birds, reptiles, butterflies, and dry forest species.

The day can be as active or as relaxed as desired. In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner and the quiet coastal atmosphere of one of Madagascar’s most exclusive retreats.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the private charter flight back to Antananarivo. Upon arrival in Tana, connect with your international departure if timing allows.

If the international flight is late at night, a day-use room, craft market visit, or short city stop can be arranged. If the connection is tight, an extra overnight in Antananarivo is recommended for comfort and safety.

The tour ends after a luxury private charter journey through Tsingy de Bemaraha, Morondava, the Avenue of the Baobabs, Isalo National Park, and Anjanjavy.
